Andrea founded Kitera in 2014 — now KonectSystems — with a clear vision: to transform how high-stakes operations are designed, executed, and scaled. Over two decades in computing, systems architecture, and interoperable mission-critical solutions, he has led the development of secure, AI-enabled C6ISR systems integrating quantum computing, cloud, and distributed cognitive processing.
He is the principal architect of KRONOS — a physics-aware AI middleware platform enabling JADC2 (Joint All-Domain Command and Control) across heterogeneous systems, with autonomous decision support that performs in degraded or denied environments. The architecture extends directly to energy infrastructure, industrial OT security, emergency response, and critical infrastructure resilience under NIS2.
Andrea leads subsystem engineering across the KRONOS ecosystem — NEXUM, ARACHNE, BLACKSTAR, DRACO, NOVA, OBSIDIAN, JANUS, EOS, and the TASD cryptographic framework — and has presented KRONOS to international defense and quantum computing audiences alongside IBM Quantum leadership.
